Chai Spice: a beautiful blend of aromic ingredients like ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, clove, black pepper, and fennel. We equate it to a smoother pumpkin spice taste. Not only does it taste yummy, but the health benefits are scrumptious!
For centuries in India chai spice has been used to boost health and preserve a thoughtful and peaceful state of mind. The warming spices amped into the spice also play a vital role in heating the body up (AKA a great weight loss + detox booster). This means that it's also great for digestion, your immunity, inflammation, and fueling your body with antioxidants.
We wanted to add even more anti-inflammatory properties to this cookie, so we also added turmeric. Our Golden Balance blend also uses Ashwaghanda which creates a homeostasis in the body to help combat high cortisol levels. The key is to always have black pepper when digesting turmeric - otherwise, your body cannot properly absorb any of the benefits turmeric has to offer due to an enzyme only activated in unison with black pepper. - 1/2 Cup Big Spoon Chai Spice Nut Butter
- 1/3 Cup Blanched Almond Flour
- 1 Organic Egg
- 1/4 tsp. Baking Soda
- 1/4 Cup Organic Coconut Sugar
- 1/2 tsp. Pure Vanilla Bean Paste
- 3/4 tsp. Golden Balance Turmeric
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. One bowl wonder! Mix all dry ingredients in one bowl and incorpoate wet ingredients. Mix well. Form into 12 cookies. Press with fork on top vertically and horizontally. Bake for 7-8 minutes and let cool on cooling rack.
